welcome to musedby. these terms explain how the website and app work and what to expect when you use them.

using the website/app

by using musedby, you agree to these terms. be real, be kind, and respect the artists. the site is here to help artists get seen, supported, and remembered.

artist profiles

artists can share their work, story, and links. artists keep ownership of their work, rights, story, and creative identity unless otherwise agreed in writing. musedby supports artist visibility, presentation, storytelling, order coordination, fulfillment support, and collector experience when an artist chooses to sell through the platform.

artwork listings

artwork listings are created by artists or the musedby team. we do our best to keep details, images, and prices accurate, but errors can happen, described below.

collector pieces

collector pieces include stickers, trading cards, mini prints, zines, rose cards, and other small objects. availability and pricing are shown on each piece.

rose cards

rose cards are digital or physical notes of support for an artist. public notes only appear if you choose to share them. you keep the meaning of your words.

user accounts

you may create an artist or collector account. keep your login safe. you are responsible for what happens through your account.

supporter notes

supporter notes and rose notes are your words to an artist. be honest and kind. we do not moderate every note, but we may remove notes that are harmful or abusive.

public notes

if you choose to share a note publicly, it may appear on the site. you can change your mind, but once a note is public it may have been seen or saved by others.

artist portal

the artist portal lets artists manage their profile, work, pricing, placements, and payouts. some financial settings are managed by the musedby team to keep things accurate and secure.

collector portal

the collector portal lets collectors save favorites, view orders, and manage their profile.

commission inquiries

commission inquiries help connect collectors and artists for custom work. musedby helps coordinate, but the artist and collector work out the details together unless agreed otherwise.

purchases

some pieces may be purchased through musedby. others may link directly to the artist's own website, shop, payment page, social profile, or preferred purchase method.

buy through musedby

when a piece is purchased through musedby, the artist keeps 95% and musedby keeps 5%, unless a different split is clearly shown for that piece. payment is processed by stripe.

buy direct from artist

when a piece links to the artist's own shop or page, you are buying directly from them. musedby is not part of that transaction, and any questions go to the artist.

artist ownership

artists keep ownership of their work, rights, story, and creative identity unless otherwise agreed in writing.

intellectual property

the musedby name, logo, and site design belong to musedby. artist work and content belong to the artists. do not copy, repost, or resell someone else's work without permission.

user-submitted content

you may submit notes, images, and profile details. by submitting, you confirm you have the right to share what you share, and you allow musedby to display it on the site as part of your use.

respectful use

use musedby the way it is meant to be used: to support artists. be kind to the humans behind the work.

prohibited behaviour

do not harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or try to break the site. do not use musedby to harm artists or collectors. we may suspend access if needed.

account access

we may limit or close accounts that break these terms. you can ask to close your account at any time.

errors in pricing or availability

sometimes a price or status is wrong. if an error happens, we will work to fix it and may cancel or adjust an order. we will always try to do right by the artist and the collector.

third-party links

musedby may link to artist websites, shops, and other services. we are not responsible for what happens on those sites.

limitation of liability

musedby is provided as is. we work hard to keep it running, but we are not liable for indirect losses, third-party actions, or things outside our control.

changes to the site

we may update the site, these terms, and how things work. if something big changes, we will do our best to let you know.
