musedby is a human-first artist platform. we help artists get seen, supported, and connected to the people their work moves. this privacy policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

how we use it

• send rose cards and supporter notes to artists

• pay artists when their work is purchased through musedby
• keep the platform running and improving

rose notes and artist messages

when you give a rose or write a note, your message is shared with the artist. if you choose to share your note on a public rose card, it may appear on the site. you can choose to include your email so the artist can reply. that is always optional.

artist accounts

artists can create and manage a profile, share their work and story, and choose how they want to sell. payout and commission details are only visible to the artist and the musedby team. artists keep ownership of their work, rights, story, and creative identity unless otherwise agreed in writing.

collector accounts

collectors can save favorite artists and pieces, view orders, and manage their profile. collector account information is used to support your experience and any purchases you make.

commission inquiries

if you submit a commission inquiry, we use the details to help connect you with the right artist and coordinate the work. inquiry details are shared only as needed to move the conversation forward.

purchases and fulfillment

when you buy through musedby, we collect order and shipping information to process the purchase and coordinate delivery or pickup. payment details are handled by our payment provider, stripe, not stored directly by musedby.

third-party services

we use trusted third-party services for payments (stripe), email, and analytics. these providers have their own policies. musedby does not store full card or bank details inside the app.

email communication and consent

when you give us your email, we only use it to contact you about your request, your order, or updates you asked for. for marketing updates, we only send if you opt in. you can unsubscribe at any time.

cookies and analytics

we use cookies and analytics to understand how the site is used and to make it better. this may include anonymous usage data. you can manage cookies through your browser settings.

how information is shared

we do not sell your information. we share details only when needed to run the platform: with artists (your notes, orders), with our payment and email providers, or when required by law.
